I joined the Dental Surgery Of Blackwater as a trainee dental nurse in Jan 2024 and love working with an amazing team.

Also, I am a qualified dental hygienist of Nepal and had a more than a year of experience in the dental surgery. However, I’m happy to learn much more as a trainee.

Outside the work, In my spare time I love to spend my time with my family and friends, shopping and watching Netflix.

Amazing service! I was seen for an emergency appointment and I was seen the same day at a time that suited me. They were super friendly and have offered to fit my children in for their dental check up too for a next day appointment. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

100% recommend this dental practice. I was suffering with really bad wisdom tooth pain. Made an appointment online and was seen an hour later. The staff greeted me and made me feel very comfortable. Was given all the information regarding my issue and the dentist got work rectifying it. He was very efficient and gave me clear instructions for aftercare. The practice was very clean and inviting. Will definitely be using this service again. Thank you for making this experience so easy.

I had a terrible pain and because it happened on Saturday I had to find an out of hours dentist. I’m happy I found this one, they gave me an appointment straight away, in 30 minutes I was there and they helped me very quick. I would highly recommend it!!

Such a lovely experience from start to finish. My husband had severe dental pain and Sam kindly squeezed him in for an urgent appointment with just an hours notice. On the morning of Christmas Eve a swig of hot coffee tells me something is very wrong! In pain and aware that I have to do something soon I arrive at Blackwater Dental Surgery and meet the ever-freindly Dr Hamza Ijaz and his team. After a discussion I am given the opportunity to return late afternoon for the work to be done.Evening time Christmas Eve, no pain and able to enjoy my holiday.It simply doesn't get much better than that 😊

I was so impressed with my first visit to the surgery. I enquired online about an emergency appointment and was given a call back within 5 minutes and got a same day appointment.I had a very complicated wisdom tooth and cavity in my molar which Dr Amer spotted instantly and committed to getting these teeth out instantly which were causing me so much pain. He was reassuring through the whole procedure and so were the dental nurses.I was given very thorough aftercare and medications to help me with a speedy recovery. after ringing around too fine a reasonable but reputable company, I came across black water dental surgery, from the minute I rang, too me leaving there were absolutely amazing, after being in excruciating pain, they fitted me in for an emergency appointment and took my tooth out same day, couldn’t recommend them enough, and I’ll definately be back! I had a very pleasant experience at the dentist today! The dentist was so helpful, efficient and informative. He helped me make the best decision for my tooth, and I had it extracted with minimal pain and discomfort. It was a 10 minute procedure that I was so nervous about, but the dentist made it worry-free and very comfortable for me. I am really happy I chose this dentist and I will be returning in the future if needed:) Also, very pretty office, calm and elegant.

I had my wisdom teeth and one above it removed here yesterday. I was in severe pain before that for past 3 days, called 111 got absolutely no help apart from a few numbers to call, which, refused to see me. They said that they don’t have any slots. I started to have headaches and fever, felt lethargic ( signs of impending sepsis/ sepsis )My lymph nodes were getting enlarged gradually, I couldn’t eat, speak properly or sleep. The pain was getting more and more severe day by day, we travelled to a lot of places to get help at NHS, only to be refusedThen we called black water dental surgery, they kindly accepted on a very short notice, examined me and took tooth out, and frankly it wasn’t easy, the last molar was impacted and horizontally placed instead of being vertical, gums here very inflamed. The doc had to incise the gums to expose it and then break it to scoop it out. He did his job very wellI won’t say that all of this was cheap but trust me it’s cheaper than many of the dental surgeries I researched about around camberley, farnborough and the neighbouring area. Of course not be compared with London ( which is very expensive )My feedback : please prescribe some strong pain meds post op, in my case paracetamol and ibuprofen didn’t work, I had to go to emergency to ask for stronger pain medsOverall I really appreciate the help and the careI hope many find this review helpfulKind regardsDr Faizan

Very friendly dentists.I called them in the morning and got an emergency appointment for the same afternoon, which was very helpful — thank you very much for this!Even though it was an emergency appointment, we were still seen at the time we were booked, though we had to wait for another hour before getting treatment.The ability to watch cartoons on the big screen in the treatment chair is very helpful for little kids, especially for those who are visiting for the first time. My son was even allowed to pick the cartoon he liked.However, my son's dentist accidentally injured his lip, causing it to bleed, which scared my son. Additionally, some liquid they used made the injury more painful.At the end, I was asked to leave a review. The lovely receptionist helped me open the correct page and, with a press of their hand, selected 5 stars. It felt like I had no choice... Even so, I would have left a review there.But five minutes after we left, I received a call asking why I had left bad feedback. (I'm not sure what happened with their system, but the review the receptionist helped me leave wasn’t saved, or perhaps it was altered.)I feel like I have no freedom to leave the review I want, or to not leave one at all.Hopefully, my review will help the dentists improve.

Went for a hygienist visit and I was so impressed. The service was excellent and the team walk you through the procedure, including taking some before and after pictures. The refurbishment is amazing, it’s like walking into a spa! Everything is digital which is much easier than filling out forms too. Would highly recommend if you are local to Yateley/Blackwater/Frogmore areas.

My Wife had severe pain in the back tooth. She was very anxious having suffered severe pain in her back tooth for past week or so. She saw Dr Hamza who made her feel at ease straight away, x-rays were taken and he explained that the tooth has decayed with infection present at the bottom of the tooth which needs root canal. He then proceeded with root canal which took about 30-40 minutes. No complications to wife since. Thanks once again Dr Hamza.

I've been seeing Dr Shawkat for the past 20 years and I've always received great dental treatment by her. I saw Dr Hamza Ijaz with a toothache in my wisdom tooth. He was very welcoming and kind with me, as i am a very nervous patient. He put me at ease and explained the best course of action was to have the tooth extracted. He did it for me there and then and the care was brilliant, they talked me through the procedure and explained what they were doing the throughout. Afterwards I was a little in shock but they sat me in the waiting room, gave me a sugary drink and checked on me regularly. Even once I got home they phoned me to see if i was ok and again the following day. I would 100% recommend this practice.

I was suffering with lot of pain in my teeth due to root canal failure with abscess .When I visited this clinic, Dr Hamza did extraction and I must say that it was painless and non traumatic. My most favourite dentists ever! My dentist is efficient and considered in her approach, whilst having the best bedside manner of a medical professional ever! She's brilliant. We've been with her for a couple of years and she's fantastic. All the staff are friendly and put us at our ease.

Appreciable experience. I was recommended to Dr. Hamza who previously had implants & was very pleased by his efforts. I had a failed root canal treatment of my front tooth. He took my tooth out & gave me a denture until wound gets healed. Later had an implant of front tooth & final result was magnificent. My friends & family were amazed with the outcome . I would extremely suggest for all implant needs .

A big thank you!I had my wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr Hamza. My wisdom tooth was completely horizontal on the x-ray. I think most dentist would have turned me away. Dr Hamza explained it would be a difficult extraction but that he can get it done. I was reluctant initially as I have always felt pain during previous dental procedures. The extraction was difficult but I was very impressed to not feel any pain during the procedure. The procedure went without any complications. At the same time I got fillings done. They have been perfect as well. I can’t recommend Dr Hamza enough!!

I have visited the surgery for crown fix.Dr. Hamza was my doctor. He is absolutely professional and very nice doctor. The surgery is very clean and tidy. The receptionist lady help me in form filling. I really like the whole environment. Definitely recommend them.

Dr Hamza looked after me when I had a dental abscess. It was easy to make an appointment and I was seen very quickly. Dr Hamza performed root canal treatment, and also fitted a crown subsequently. I have had a very good experience and outcome, and would very much recommend his services.

I highly recommend Dr Ijaz for ANY wisdom teeth removals. It is so hard to find a dentist with great surgical knowledge . ( he does implants, the two go hand in hand)My wisdom tooth was complex and buried.He numbed the area I couldn't feel a thing!He was excellent chair-side manner made me feel relaxed .Thank you .

Dr Hamza is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his field of general dentistry and implants. He has excellent communication skills and always delivers on the services he provides. He is also very compassionate and always aims to give his patients the results they want.
