I attended for an emergency appt due to severe toothache and chronic pain in my jaw. I am autistic and felt very apprehensive on arrival. The reception team were friendly. I was called in on time by Jaz, who listened to my explanation of what was wrong. She explained everything step by step, and was very calm. Jaz was respectful of the fact that I have a congenital defect in my back and I can’t go from being sat upright to laying down in one go. There was a screen on the wall showing pictures of nature scenes, beaches etc, and music was also playing. It was a very calm and peaceful environment. Would definitely recommend this dental practice and I would use them again without hesitation.

Submitting on behalf of my husband who had an emergency appointment tonight. Staff were superb with him, he was very nervous and they made him feel comfortable and allowed me in the room with him.

I was very anxious of going to the Dentist in the UK but Dr. Hamza Ijaz changed that. He was welcoming , polite and made me feel relaxed. He explained everything step-by-step and did not try to push any treatments.

Absolutely incredible service and Dr Jasmine put up with me crying in fear as I can not bare the dentist's usually. After being misdiagnosed and treated for trigeminal neuralgia (the suicide disease) by my GP for 7 months and thinking my life was looking completely bleak; Dr Jasmine correctly diagnosed me with a tooth infection and put me on antibiotics and I've not taken one pain killer since my first session, where as before I was on anti convulsants, three types of pain medicine and a muscle relaxant. Dr Jasmine has basically saved my life. Her gentle nature calmed me in my darkest moment and I will be forever greatful.

I wanted a top right back molar extracted because the filling fell out taking over half of that molar with it and leaving very little above gum level! My previous nhs dentist (now retired who I trusted) had advised that if this happened, it would not survive more treatment and a surgical extraction in hospital would be needed.
An Emergency dental appointment at another clinic suggested that I have a ‘non emergency’ appointment and that the molar should have root treatment and a crown that wouldn’t be guaranteed for more than a year! When I insisted that the tooth needed to come out, I was told to go to the hospital because she was not an oral surgeon. I left in disbelief £100 lighter.
Finally, I visited Bell Lane surgery and after explaining my negative experiences with previous dentists and how nervous and anxious I get, I was given an appointment yesterday with who I deem to be the best dentist on this planet!
Dr Abdel is truly gifted and highly skilled. He explained everything to me and his hypnotic calm tone actually lowered my heartbeat (which hit 220 beats per minute) to a healthy 60 beats per minute. The quality of the anaesthesia was far superior to the adrenaline versions I’d had in the past and I didn’t feel a thing. 10 minutes later, this complicated extraction was completed. I did not need any pain relief.
It was worth every penny. Thank Dr Abdel for me. I will be back.

Was so glad they could see me straight away for my dental emergency. An appointment was made for me in the next 1/2 an hour. I was having unbearable pain. I was having no luck with 111 or other emergency treatment services, no one could see me same day. Was so relieved that Blackwater Dental were able to perform immediate root canal treatment so swiftly which resolved the pain. They listened to me and gave me sufficient pain relief prior to the procedure which i am greatful for. I highly recommend.

She explained what needed to be done and what the procedure would look like. During the procedure she was very reasurring and calm. Very kind dentist, little query on the price quoted in the chair pre and post extraction but for £100 extra the job had been done and so far I’m out of pain. 2nd visit and what an experience. Injections worked fast in thought having a nerve root canal was going to be bad but nope once I had those glasses on with videos and music I was relaxed so relaxed I didn't realise it was finished. Realy good highly recommend them. I called for an emergncy i 2as in pain and tooth was half broken. NHS 111 said wait till tomorrow despite the pain. My own dentist said could not do anything till monday. I went to 5his practice and within 20 minutes the dentis took xray saw the issue extrac5ed the tooth professionaly and relived the pain. Excellent.I didn’t want to be coerced into a payment plan or be subjected to unnecessary X-rays which previous dentists have displayed aggression upon learning. I recently visited after being recommended by a friend as i was suffering from a severe toothache, this was the only dental surgery who saw me within the hour. As soon as i walked in i was so impressed by how modern and fresh it looked. I was greeted by the receptionst Sam who made me feel so welcome. I saw Dr Abdel who treated my toothache quickly and efficiently, i was so nervous but he immediately made me feel at ease. The prices are very reasonable and much lower than what ive seen elsewhere. We had X ray and was given options and we knew what we wanted, me and Mrs had discussed extraction of gum.
Abdul was patient and answered all our questions, and nothing was too much for him, I wish others were like this.
The lady working with him, wish I knew her name, she probably was from phillipines, but she treated us and my 3 year old like VIP,
Really caring.
Abdul was professional and considerate and wife was in caring arms during her treatment.
Don't hesitate, just book your visit, I hope NHS learn from this place.

I have been having severe toothache and my visit in this superb dental clinic really made a difference! They were prompt and so kind to all of us patients. They have accommodated me quickly, even though it’s a bank holiday, they were able to fit me in their schedule. Dr Hamza, his dental Nurse and the receptionist were so lovely- all of them are. They were reassuring, as I was sat there in less pain. Thank you so much.

After suffering bad toothache all weekend I decided I needed to visit an emergency dentist and I’m so pleased I found Blackwater dental surgery & implant centre. They saw me promptly (on a Sunday!) and, after an x ray, explained the treatment I would need and the cost before they went ahead. They were caring, well priced and explained everything as they went through the procedure. Hats off to them - I thoroughly recommend.

The calmness and professionalism shown by everyone who works at Blackwater Dental Surgery makes a big, positive impact to something no one really wants to go through. If you need any dental work or just a checkup, but are scared of dentists, I cannot recommend Blackwater enough. You’ll be in very good hands and be treated with a level of kindness, care and gentleness, as if you are one of the family.

I came with a sharp excruciating pain on my lower molar that started midnight. Secured first emergency appointment at 0830. I was seen promptly by Dr. Abdel and showed my xray of the tooth and rightly suggested an extraction. It was 100% painless extraction as he promised. Recommended next steps. Very kind and patiently dealt with. Thank you.

I travelled all the way from Brighton after hearing how good Ahmed is and it was completely worth it. He was calm, reassuring and very professional from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable throughout and genuinely cared about doing the best job possible.
His confidence and skill put me at ease straight away and the treatment was much smoother than I expected. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and in looking after his patients. I could not recommend Ahmed highly enough.

Absolutely made to feel at ease, Ana is a fantastic Dentist made me feel comfortable and not nervous at all. The receptionist Sam was Amazing warm and friendly.
