Tracey Barratt
Dental Hygienist - GDC No: 5068
I started working as a Dental Nurse at 15 when I left school, where I trained and qualified, receiving the National Certificate for Dental Surgery Assistants. Once qualified I moved to another Dental Practice in Woking continuing working as a dental nurse and in my spare time I became a Special Constable which I enjoyed for 5 years, becoming a Section Officer by the end. In 1995, I left both roles to train as a Dental Hygienist with the Royal Army Dental Corps (RADC) in Aldershot. I qualified in 1996 and have been working in General Practice ever since. I returned to work at the Woking Practice and joined the Blackwater Dental Surgery & Implant Centre about 23 years ago.
I enjoy my job meeting patients and helping, teaching and guiding them to look after and improve their dental hygiene with the aim of keeping their teeth for life.
I am married with 2 grown up children, I love to travel, try new experiences and spend time with my family.
